To celebrate the imminent release of Black and White, and generally to pass some time, I've put together a recipe for you, /vp/.
Bake em, gift em, take some to the mall tour - whatever you do with them, this is my way of saying thanks.

I'll probably start mixing that shit in a bit. Also it'll be slightly off of what OP's list is. I don't feel like using a disher (Ice cream scoop) to make them, I'll probably do'm by weight/hand. And also probably amend OP's thing to go by weight all around (makes it a more consistent recipe)

    Bulbapedia should help us.
    >Pokéblock bears some similarity to the popular candy Pez. They are both small candies that are stored in a dispenser.

Is there any sort of way to make candy at home? I guess just an average candy shaped as a cube could help. But, how do we even get it to do that?

If anyone ever tries this, then all the luck to you. And don't forget that it has to use grinded berries.

Cinnamon's a different kind of spicy; it gets bitter if you use too much. But cayenne gets overpoweringly hot really quick if you use too much.

It would require experimentation, but I'd start with teaspoon, teaspoon and a half per poffin.

I'm not saying that that would be too much pure capsaicin, that's a fucking given. I am saying, because the post I was responding to was basically saying "if you think a teaspoon to a teaspoon and an half of cayenne is too much for a small cake, you're just a pussy faggot that doesn't like spicy stuff, maybe just use a pinch." I'm not a pansy about spice, is my point, but that's still too much of ANYTHING, be it cayenne, clove, rosemary, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, lemon zest... Basically, if it's a dry ingredient used to add flavour, a teaspoon to a teaspoon and an half is gonna be too much for a small cake.

Obiously you've never baked before, because if you did you'd know that adding in 30-45 teaspoons of anything to a cakemix will A> throw the mix off or B> if you substituted 1:1 Flour:added ingrediant it would kill any and all other flavours in the mix.
So even though you said "thats what i'd do" you're still pretty wrong.
Do you even realise how much 30-45 teaspoons of dry ingrediants are?

Nah. I'm not good with measures of certain things, but I'd say ragecandybar would be a bunch of testosterone pills covered in methamphetamine and crack, coated in chocolate made using wasp spit. That's why they're so rare, wasp spit is hard to collect. And then they'd squirt bull semen on it for good measure.

Fun fact: Taurine (the energy and power drug) was originally derived from bull semen. It is now mostly derived in trace amounts from beef flanks, hence the name Taurine. It is a common ingredient in energy drinks.

    The more you know...

The apricot one was god damn amazing. I'm really looking forward to attempting these as muffins too (or at least a muffin batter) I'll do the orange ones in a bit need to clean the kitchen now, place is a wreck because I toss flour around like crazy.

Yeah the size was one of the things I was iffy on as well. I just made them 2oz balls of dough, which ended up huge. So I guess as far as that goes OP's image is right on the money for that, the medium disher (icecream scoop) would probably have made for a much smaller poffin. I figure 1oz balls for the next round (should be half the size) I keep forgetting about the oven kick (rise in the oven).

Go to the store tomorrow morning, or right now if it's day where you are. Purchase a pomegranate, if you can find one, or blackberries or grapes if you can't.

Now, if you got a pomegranate, cut it in half. See that white stuff? Try some. It's raunchy at first, an acquired taste, but I now eat everything but the peel. You see that really gawdawful flavour, there, isn't bitter. Bitter is like tea or avocados. That's what "dry" is. If you got blackberries, try the seeds, or the peel of the grape. The flavour is also present in "dry" wines, hence the name.

I actually have relatively little experience cooking, but one of my stepparents was a fairly classy chef and another a somalier (both were stepfathers), so flavour and not-fucking-shit-up are things I am expert on in the kitchen.

Either a person saves the page and distributes a link to the Mediafire/Megaupload in another thread, via email or over Facebook, or at least six (I think is the number) people go to 4chan[nospace]archive (dot) org and request the thread number, and it shows up a week later after the admins review it.

I was just thinking of something to give it a bite back, since it is a "Rage" candy bar and all. Anything else like that should work too, but I figure mix some poprocks into the rice crispies as your mixing them with the marshmallow fluff and it should work out fine. Possibly spice it up a bit with a dash of chili or something, or just add that to the chocolate. Probably do with with a dark chocolate at that. God damn this is the most productive I've been with cooking in a long time and it took Pokemon to do it. Awesome/sad.

I think the archive crashed right before we got it archived.

The solution is to keep bumping until the archive comes back up and be glad we weren't trying to archive on, say, /b/.

Why thank you. They do taste a little muffin-y, however there isn't much flavour to them. I'm doing a second batch with strawberry chunks in them. They should be finished soon!

This is because the original in the Japanese version was actually a Japanese jello-like dessert known as Yokan (sounds similar to the Japanese word for Chateau, adn they wanted to keep the same kind of pun in English apparently.) Anyway, traditional Yokan is made from agar (a traditional plant-derived gelatin alternative) sugar, and sweet red-bean paste

http://www.foodbuzz.com/recipes/462086-japan-yokan here's a recipe. They're not that much harder to make then regular jello. The thing that really takes a long time is soaking the beans overnight.

Oh, and if you want an almost clear-white yokan, increase the amount of water and use soymilk instead of red beans.

Aerogel is superlight glass, and is used as an insulator on spaceships. Completely inedible, I own some from United Nuclear though. It weighs like nothing.

The Japanese name for Old Gateau is 'Forest Youkan', which is based on a Japanese dessert:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y%C5%8Dkan

That explains the in-game sprite for it since it doesn't much look like cake. Not sure which /vp/ would prefer, though.

Well here's some samples from my latest bunch, unfortunately most of them were burned on the outside. So you get the taste of strawberries and burnt food. But it was fun to experiment, I would try this again in the future, and experiment with more flavours and such. I might try cinnamon next time.

I kind of want to make a "Rare Candy" type thing. But I'm wondering what I can add to make it not just generic hard candy.
