I enjoyed ACW, but I can still see its flaws:-Cadance and Shining.Both came out of fuck nowhere. Would have been nice to introduce Shining on Hearth's Warming, and to make a reference to Cadance in Lesson Zero. Also Cadance should have been one of the three basic pony types (Unicorn would have worked best for her, but I would have liked to see an Earth Pony or Pegasus Princess). Plus after being in five episodes now, neither character has ANY characterization.-Chrysalis' defeat:She had victory in her grasp, but because LOLPLOT she was distracted. I blame this one on lack of time. Give the episode ten to fifteen more minutes and that would have solved the problem. In my opinon.-Everyone taking Fake Cadance's side:Should have played on Twilight's jealousy of having her brother taken away from her. And have Fake Cadance not act like a massive bitch. Maybe make her slightly oblivious to certain aspects of pony life or something.I had one or two more little things, but I forgot them. Mornings man.

But the main characters will all be princesses and Equestria will be in the best shape it's ever been in.For a good starting point allowing for conflict and development, they'd have to either start a new world or make the current cast irrelevant. Magical Mystery Cure was a poorly structured episode that would've benefitted greatly from being a two-parter. As it was, the plot was rushed and left many watchers feeling cold and confused.It was clearly always intended for Twilight to become a princess, though whether or not that also involved her becoming an alicorn is debateable. In all, the 'twilycorn' debacle reeks of typical Hasbro fashion of gutting a show or franchise's longevity in order to be able to produce more toys in the short term. Any confirmation of the other main characters also becoming alicorns would also reinforce this.
