Too many times is she discarded in stories because she'd be too powerful and make the main plotline frivolous with her power. This was important, as Celestia and Luna had a history there. I decided a language would do that best.Equinin isn't all that well developed. I specified a few things that were necessary for the Pegasus Worldshard puzzle and the Yev-Ruu scene, but that's about it. I knew translations could give words different meanings and wanted to use that. I also wanted Equinin to have a defining aspect, and I made that it's bluntness by having syllables equivalent to what are words in english. To me, it made sense for modifiers/adjectives to be "extra" or tacked on with a dash, since ponies would want to be as direct as possible.
