I just joined my first synchtube Mare-a-thon last weekend, and had a lot of fun. But drinking would have made it more fun, but I hate drinking games that have a ridiculous amount of rules to follow. So I propose the following rules for a drinking game!

-Drink every time you see: Derpy, Lily, Daisy, Rose, BonBon, HeartStrings(Lyra) or Octavia
-Drink 3 times when you see BonBon&HeartStrings(Lyra)
-Fan Mode: Pick another background character, drink every time you see them.
-Hard Mode: Drink every time you hear "Pony", 3 times for "My Little Pony"

Just saying, based on my own experience with the show, the first 6 episodes, and what I've seen pass by while browsing /co/, I would actually enjoy this show if it were humans and not ponies.
The fact that it's ponies ruined this show for me, and it's why I don't watch it.

So I see that my designs are once again a hot plate of discussion, jesus christ. You know what'll probably happen?

Around early June, I'll look at the lineup and think the designs are bad and need improvement. I did it with my last one, so why not this one? One or two months later, once I have it figured out, I'll change all of their designs yet again to reflect my changing tastes and ideas on design.

I condensed several design traits from the first lineup into something that made for a better silhouette and less focused on surface detail that can clutter up the figure. The new lineup I've done just "flows" better and has even more variety than the old lineup. Honestly, man. Lazy.

I think the problem with Ross's characters designs is they look OKAY individually. But all next to each other gives me a "WTF?" feel.

Not really. The deal the Flim Flam Brothers proposed would have bled them dry. Not necessarily. Granny Smith wasn't thinking clearly after being insulted Marty McFly-style. She couldn't possibly have anticipated how many apple trees the brothers would go through in an hour.
If this wasn't an episodic cartoon they could have ended up having a very lean winter or at least losing money to make up for the lack of apples to sell whole or make into other things. Not to mention replacing the trees the brothers uprooted and destroyed.

I think that she could have been given a better name for one. Bronies will scream otherwise, but "Derpy" is an offensive term. I only learned that fairly recently because I actually listened to people who had troubles. with the term. Anyway yes, she could have been given a better name. My troubles were
a) the name. Which I already explained.

Celestia and Luna could have been genetically engineered, or the offspring of whatever "Perfect" being was given the last of our power - flight and magic are both at their disposal, but they're of a rare, dying breed. For whatever reason, nopony can have both wings and a horn, hence the split into Pegasi, Unicorns and Earthponies.

I can't believe I'm typing any of this with a straight face.

Unicorns are merely an offshoot or an evolution taking advantage of sensitivity to magic.

If gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces were changed even slightly, then wouldn't the physical composition of the universe as we know it, let alone life, become impossible? Sure, maybe something else unrecognizable could organize itself from such chaos over a huge time span, but I think maintaining continuity from a human civilization in such a catastrophe is unrealistic.

Although, so are magic ponies made of memory foam. So I guess the MST3k rule applies.
