Most of the staff don't care about the internet, but the directors and a few of us lower functionaries definitely pay attention. I wouldn't say we get offended that Lauren gets all sorts of praise, that's just the nature of creator-driven TV shows. There's a huge crew, but it's not like fans can go around talking to everyone.

Whoever lays out an individual scene decides who gets in the background, unless there's a specific instruction in the board. For BG ponies there usually aren't.

Since it's flash, we actually do very few new drawings. Only for really custom stuff. That's fun to do, but time consuming, so we can't do it that often.
