Okay, so, I cranked out this short little fanfic the other day but it didn't come out exactly how I wanted. I've spent the past two days trying to revise it but I think I'm getting to the point where I need outside help, so any criticism would be appreciated. Be as harsh as possible.

They do pretty well with what little continuity they are allowed. And being an /a/utist, I have plenty of magical girl shows to enjoy with DEEP PLOTS.

I much prefer the character and world exploration. And the occasional monster we get seems to hit harder. Madoka makes you expect every character to die after episode 3. And Nanoha and Pretty Cure fill up the regular beat-em-up slot.

I think it's going to depend more on how long Faust and other artists want to keep working on the show. And how successful Hub is. They're a brand new network and they've bought another season for all of their shows, even the crap ones like Strawberry shortcake. They'll do it again unless they produce some new show that they expect would do much better than FiM and sell more toys. And I don't see that happening.

3 seasons is just about the average life expectancy for most kids shows. More than that and they can just use reruns instead of paying for more. There are a few notable exceptions. Spongebob beinga major example. Of course, later Spongebob episodes suck.

We know that FiM is going to have at least 50 episodes. 50 fucking episodes, man. That should be enough to satisfy the biggest fan. Not that I wouldn't support more.

There's nothing wrong with the first episode. It's well-paced, introduces the characters in turn, and has some good humor. The second episode only suffers because it was required to completely resolve the entire plot established in the first episode in just 22 minutes while also developing the characters and building the world.
