Well i've been thinking about that actually. I've come to the conclusion pegasi must have some sort of passive body lightening, air manipulating magic going on in order to stand on them, because otherwise they're no different from earth ponies save the wings. Yet we've seen unicorns and earth ponies without explicit magical spells cast on them can't interact with clouds at all. Except pinkie, but she doesn't count for purposes of physics.

I personally think it's a bit of attention-whoring to request drawings from your own fanfics. I've done it myself on occasion, and I feel bad doing it. Because I know it's shameless.

To do that, and then attack other people for what they want to see, and the artists who accept other people's requests, that's pretty fucked up.

Lucid deleted a shitton of his comments, so I cant get exact sauce. Oh well.

He made the post asking for a request, one comment after that, and then suddenly turned on the rage because his comments were being ignored.

My problem with the way he was handling it was overall disrespect towards artists. Once an artist did agree to draw for him, he went from very specifically needing something (an on model FIM human example.) to just anything the artist wanted that went with his story.

(in regards to a comic madmax drew for him. He did say he loved it, but he sure doesn't sound it.)

Raging about the artists who wont deliver his request doesn'tt, and complaining about what they do choose to draw. A marked increase in cursing and hostiley worded "I want it, and I want it now." Threats to drop his trip and stop contributing because no one else wanted to help him. (Which made me assume he was trolling, because we've heard that song and dance.)

I dont dislike Lucid, but I cant see myself ever really wanting to draw for him. I don't do well with an angry, all caps temper tantrum (one of the deleted posts that he did without his trip). It doesn't inspire me to draw something who doesn't seem to realize that I make a living off of my art and despite him talking about how it was just too hard to do on his own does require effort.

I don't know if that's explanation enough for why it bothered me, haha. I have a terrible time explaining myself and there's a reason I'm not a writefag. I don't mean to hardcore rag on Lucid, because I've enjoyed seeing him on threads before.

As a person, totally cool with him.
As an artist, absolutely not.

Well, at least it sure makes the /b/ newfags more aware of how the system work.
