Twilight was finally cleaning the library. Sure, she spent so much of her time there, but she never really cleaned. She left it to Spike. The Spike who had finally wised up to Twilight’s schedule and added it to it. And Twilight loved every moment of it, except for the dust. She had found books that she had usually passed up and magazines from the days before she arrived. Once she managed to dust the place, she went out of her way to re-organize the whole place. Her cheer could only be topped by the book she found. When her eyes finally settled back in their positions, she rushed to show the other ponies. “I think I am a little, TOO, mature for such books, darling.” Rarity replied. “Aren’t you a little old for these books? You could help me with the farm if you have time” Retorted Applejack. “Sorry Twilight, but we’re super extra busy today!” Pinkie yelled across the store, before Twilight could even tell her why she had come. FLuttershy would be off in the woods, and Dash was actually working today. With a sigh, she headed home. To her surprise, Spike was returning home at the same time. “Where did you spend the day, Spike? I didn’t see you at all.” “Those three girls roped me into having a tea party with them. Applejack really needs to buy some cotton ropes instead. But we had to call it a day, because Apple Bloom was allergic to Tomatoes. Who knew? And what do you have there?” Spike pointed at the book in Twilight’s saddle, and a rather sheepish grin appeared on Twilight’s face. “It’s a book I found, but no one wants to read it with me. Say, how about you Spike, we don’t have anything to do later, and I’ll make your favorite dinner! Please!” “Okay, okay, what is it?” |
