Who's Caluriri?

A lot of animals mature quickly, or at least grow to their full size in a short amount of time. It doesn't really make sense for a carnivorous animal like a dragon to stay tiny and adorable for years, forcing a parent to protect them. Dragons probably grow to full size quickly and continue to mature after that growth spurt, although much more slowly.

A likely scenario? Twilight has to go with Spike to the dragon kingdom so that he can be with his own kind.

Here's my crazy thought... what if Celestia's true power is not just control over the sun and the moon, but over ALL facets of nature? Except, she cannot exert her will beyond what she can see, and just taking care of her immediate surroundings in Canterlot (not to mention the raising of the sun and moon each day) takes up all of her time and energy. So, instead of trying to do everything, she simply lets her subjects take care of it, by making nature inert. That would explain why ponies have to change the seasons and take care of the animals, while none of this occurs in the Everfree Forest (as Celestia's power doesn't extend that far). In fact, perhaps that forest is 'ever free' of Celestia's regime?

I was wondering why Zakura would have come to Equestria.

Theory: Celestia moves the day and night for the whole world, but resides in Equestria. Zakura is an adventurer-archeologist sort of girl and came to Equestria to learn about this mysterious entity, but wants to learn more before actually meeting her. Since the ponies won't talk to her, she went into the Everfree forest to dig up the ruins and learn about the Princesses' history.
