You seemed to be missing the point at what I'm getting at. Does a child know that "Zecora." It's Ethiopian for "Zebra."? No, they don't. What they do know is that Zebras are from Africa and live in huts and black people live there.

They also know that their parents may make comments about black people when they see them on the news killing someone. There are just as many white people as black people who kill in the world. So when a child makes these connections she gets a bad vibe from the character and ultimately won't trust them and eventually will hate them as time goes by or to a lesser extent will be unconformable hanging out with them
