I think they asked our producer how many people were on crew, so they could send us toys, and when she said "about a hundred" they sent her a box with, like, six toys. So, nope, we haven't gotten any. Some people decorate their desks with little figures (and a bunch of the girls have huge Pony collections), but around my immediate area our workspace is mostly just littered with scrap paper. Glamourous, I know.
Well, I don't know _everything_ that Lauren has done, but I know she definitely looks at all the rough cuts and gives notes for those, and she does a similar pass on the animatics. And probably a whole whack of other things. She sometimes visits Vancouver, but there's other stuff that can be done over the phone or the internets.
There are actually three shows that are being made at the same time (each staggered by a week), so there were three layout teams, and then one in-house animation team - the other two shows went to the Phillipines.
The numbers, I don't know. But I do remember that the folks at Hasbro raved about the first two episodes, after having seen them... so I assume response is positive? Hope so?
