I just...I don't think this show deserves to have eternally respawning threads, one after another and begin again.

After seeing so many threads about this shit, I gave in and watched the first two episodes.

and I fucking loved them. Thought they'd be silly and stupid as fuck, but they were fucking adorable. ADORABLE. I've seen four episodes so far and I really like it, despite being about 15 years older and on the wrong gender side than its intended audience.

Does /co/ have any of their own pony theories? I posted this one in the last thread.

I theorize that Trixie was an abused pony when she was younger and that the bullying eventually caught up to her. So what did she do? She set out to be better then everyone else she wanted to prove that she was better than the ponies who mocked her. Eventually this got so extreme it created an alter ego which consumed her entire being called "The Great and Powerful Trixie". Soon she started telling lies and actually believing in whats she made up until Twilight Sparkle was able to snap her out of her daze by defeating the Ursa Minor. Trixie then being awakened and realizing what happened fled not only because she was humiliated but because the ponies that bullied here were right she was less than them she was never able to prove them wrong.

My personal belief is that her relationship with Twilight is no happy coincidence, and neither is Twilight's immense magic power. BBTS often gets prototype shots, so this could look a bit different than what the toy will actually end up looking like. But even if it isn't exactly Derpy, it will be a lot easier to make a Derpy custom from this base as compared to trying to repaint a Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash.

This sounds cool! Gilda could have second thoughts near the end as she remembers her past friendship with Rainbow Dash and decides to sabotage the plan. Then she brushes it off like she didn't do it on purpose, trying to act cool, but Dash sees through it.
