So i've been waiting for characters to meet in person for what seems like forever. But the only social interaction i've ever seen is through pesterchum.

When two characters finally are together in person will they speak to each other finally, or communicate through pesterchum while standing right next to each other?

He just loves doing it. He seems to be one who does it more for himself than the fans, which I can respect. But yeah, he literally does this in all of his waking time outside of conventions. He chooses to make it his life because it's what he loves to do.

It helps that he makes enough money off it that he doesn't have to work a real job, so doing the comic effectively IS his job, in addition to his lifestyle.

Hussie has a depressive disorder, and really the only way out of that ditch is to keep the overstimulated creative part of your brain occupied at all times. This is why you tend to see so many depressed artists, poets, writers etc. It tended for the most part to keep them from killing themselves. MPSA is how Hussie copes.

Hussie knows the truth, and it is that December 23rd, 2012 is when our universe's sessions of Sburb will happen. He is presenting Homestuck as a warning and general instruction guide, presented in a fun, easy-to-read format to warn us. The comic will end on February 2nd, 2012 (Day 1,025), and then a couple months later, on April 13th, 2012, the comic's 3rd birthday, we will get an epilogue, along with Hussie's final messages and warnings.

We will then have 8 months to re-read the whole comic and suitably prepare for the apocalypse and our upcoming Sburb sessions.
