I actually love all three characters, and Twilight WAS the cutest in the episode. None of these characters are written with a sexuality -- they are asexualized. I can understand why Gilda did the things she did at the party, and even consider a lot of them understandable.

The thing is, even though they are understandable, and even though I friendship the fuck out of Gilda x Ponies and want her to come back and be friends, that greentext is completely true. While it WAS a dick move on Dash's part to make the entire party about pranking Gilda repeatedly, Gilda is the one who blew up, and Gilda is the one who was a total bitch. Nothing that happened to her in the episode is actually unwarranted.
