I need sleep, BADLY
11/17/10(Wed)23:30 No. 21294789 It had been a month since Luna had returned, but she was still finding it hard to adjust to life in Equestria. When she had returned to the royal court in Canterlot, despite Celestia's assurances, she was viewed with suspicion by all present. The Royal Guard would watch her every move, and even the serving staff ignored her as best they could. When out in the streets, the public avoided her wherever she went. Luna began to withdraw into herself, alone, as she had been for the past thousand years. Seeing this, Celestia decided it might be better for Luna to spend some time away from court, to give the citizens time to adjust before she returned to her regal duties. She begged with her sister not to make her go, she pleaded with her to allow her to bring in the night once day ended, as she had done all those years ago, but Celestia was firm. She explained how she was doing this not because she did not trust her, but rather, the people of Equestria would feel nervous if she allowed her power over the darkness again, and they would all be better off if, for the time being, Celestia maintained the power she had held in Luna's absence. So it was decided, and Luna was sent to the village where she had first returned, the location of the Summer Sun Celebration.
