A lot of the people working on it had roles in cartoon series like Dexter's laboratory, PPG and Foster's.But don't take my word for it, if you really want to know watch an episode for yourself in its entirety, you may skip the theme song and to have a better idea of the actual atmosphere of the series skip the first two episodes because they are a bit misleading.

>>21281426Yes, I love the introductory two parter, but they give the impression the show will be Sailor Pony Rangers and with an overarching plot, which unfortunately is not.It's better for a a dubious new viewer to start with one of the post-introduction episodes and only IF he/she likes what he sees to go back and see the Season premiere and the others.We already discussed this and many seemed to agree on this.On a side note, I generally recommend the third episode ALSO because we have Pinkie Pie singing twice and Twilight Sparkle lampshading how silly this is.
