As far as I'm concerned, the show lost all moral lesson credibility as of episode two when they hit the ol' "not only does friendship solve everything ever, but even so much as question it and you will inevitably fail until you realize that Friendship is the only solution for anything ever." I am so sick of that particular cartoon moral. Friendship/teamwork is like a hammer. There are many things it helps with, some things are nearly impossible without it, but it isn't required for everything. But with cartoon lessons it's always the ultra black-and-white portrayal of The Power of Friendship. Speaking of hands, I've come to the conclusion that Pony hooves work like the Powerpuff Girl's "flippers" did. They just kind of pick up and manipulate things somehow, despite lacking fingers. That's really my only disappointment with the show so far. They started off with this "epic" sort of story, and now they're leaving all of that plot behind. In regards to Celestia/Luna; the more I think about it, the more I'm just wondering if Celestia isn't just amoral. The day-to-day concerns of little ponies are a little alien to her. Good memory! Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was her. If it was her, she might have just been confused, because she had some conflicting dates in her posts. (Like "I have never been here before" when in fact she had posted macros that she said she "got from /co/" a week before that. So either she was lying, got them from a friend who goes on /co/, or we had a Pensivepine imitator. Not unheard of.)

That said: I would almost prefer she stayed away. But that is because I'm bitter, and the only vibe I've ever gotten from her and her tl;dr rantings about other people's interpretations is "STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE." She is very quick to shoot down alternate interpretations of the FiM cartoon.
