Well, once everyone got over the shock of the new design, most people were pretty stoked, especially since Lauren Faust was in charge. And then when the first episode aired, everyone was all over it. There was a bit of a panic when the summary for the third episode was released, with some people saying that a slice of life show couldn't live up to the first episode (the second episode hadn't even aired yet), but cooler heads prevailed, and of course once the actual episode aired and was awesome regardless of the cliched plot, everyone set aside their worries for the time being.
The overall consensus is that the new show has all the best parts of the first series and the Tales series. I've yet to find anyone in the fandom who has watched the series and doesn't enjoy it. A lot of people are on the fence about the toys, though, since they don't really live up to the design of the show. I believe the term "mouse deer" is the most used description.

Ok, 1920x1200 is a 16:10 AR which is what a good deal of monitors use, to my knowledge. Thanks though! It still works fine for me :)

Also I've encoded the first episode into XviD/MP3 in an AVI container at 175MB. The quality is great, I can't really see any quality loss. Source is the FLV from the website.

Well, I tried ripping a background from the Hub game using a Flash Decompiler, but still couldn't open it because my flash is a former version.

In case any flash brony here uses Jdownloader (so he can download it without risking getting mediafire viruses), I'd be thankful if I could get a swf, gif, or a converted version for MX.
