Why do people think Homura is strong? She's magically weak, which makes sense since she represses her emotions. She spams her time ability which looks to be technological rather than magical, but she doesn't have good attacks and it can't save her from everything. Sayaka-witch would be very tough for her defeat alone. With Kyouko she might be able to aid, but at the cost of leaving Madoka vulnerable. Kyouko event outright says this and people still don't get it.

They must have, if she kept telling Mami there was no way she would defeat Charlotte. And yet not once did Homura use her time stop to freeze Mami in place and then defeat Charlotte herself. Not once did she use it for anything useful. Why did she save Sayaka's Soul Gem, when she knew what was gonna happen?

Homura is a total failure. Her constant obsession with watching Madoka and Madoka ONLY has led to the exact future she didn't want to happen.

I know the whole "lack of energy in the universe" is terribly stupid, and that bringing entropy into this shows a lack of proper research, but I think it's not something so terrible to flame the show.

Sure, I'd have preferred if they had stuck to magic and Faustian type of plot with demons and shit, but fuck, honestly, the whole science rubbish hasn't undone one bit the entertainment of the previous episode.

And again I think she was alos took a lot more damage from those attacks then she let on. Think of this entire plot twisting and speculah as a metagame between us and Urobuchi over the plot of the Madoka tv show.

I really don't see what the big deal about all this "science" is. The only science that Kyuubey said was "Hey, you know the laws of thermodynamics? They're kind of a bummer so we wanted to find a form of energy that violated them." That's not really an explanation, that's just sort of acknowledging that science does in fact exist.
