Welp, so much for the show. My only regret is that I got into the fandom so late. I don't know if I even feel like drawing pony anymore knowing what's coming. Maybe I'll change my mind once the dust settles.

Does anyone else feel like this might be due to the fandom? Hasbro might feel that the fandom is too out of control, and out of its demographic. How do you get rid of the problematic bronies while still appeal to the little girls? Princess time! Everyone who loved the show for the world and stuff will jump ship, while Hasbro can keep shilling out toys to kids from the shell of a story that remains.

I think this whole Twilicorn shit has potential.
It's one of those massive changes in the shows formula, which generally has the effect of either breaking the show completely, or reinvigorating it and making things even better. It's a little bit of an all-in scenario, but it doesn't make it a bad thing.

Maybe this will be like in the first season of Digimon when they bring the stuff to the "real" world. Shit got way more awesome. Maybe Twilicorn will end up having that effect.

A bit of fresh air should really give the show new life. I look forward to what they do with it as long as Twilight remains part of the mane six, which she will. I just wonder eactly what she'll be princess of and if she gets a castle or something. I don't think they'll do a time skip yet. They'll want to spend time on Twilight getting used to be a princess. Could her being a princess mean more international affairs? Maybe visiting the griffins or striking a deal with the changelings.
