For the record, MLP has always been about selling toys. The show doesn't need to be any good, just good enough to make them sell. The whole charm about MLP is that instead of just settling as being just another walking advertisement like the previous MLP incarnations, the creative team behind it worked their ass off to make a show that's fun, memorable and enjoyable for everyone, even those outside the target audience.
Just because you don't like something currently happening in the show does not mean it's coming apart, or Hasbro's changing it to sell toys better. Maybe you just don't like ponies as much as you thought you did. Maybe you expected something a lot more from it and never got it. But for fuck's sake, whining like a little child and crying "0/10 RUINED FOREVER" isn't going to fix anything.
