03/19/12(Mon)11:22 No. 689953 >>689759 The door to the library's upper room banged open. "TWILIGHT!" "Yeah." said the purple unicorn, not turning from the screen. Rainbow Dash hovered over the computer and gestured wildly when she talked. "The CMC were trying to get their marks and they're trapped in an abandoned mine out at Pinkie's parents' farm!" "Uh-huh." "Only an experienced teleporter like you will be able to rescue them!" "Okay." Twilight clicked the mouse again, her bored expression unchanged. Rainbow Dash grimaced, and with one swift kick, destroyed the monitor. Twilight got into a fighting stance. "Hey! I was using that!" "The kids are in trouble! Get your head in the game, Twilight! They could DIE!" Twilight was about to argue, but then her expression changed to worry, then determination. She spoke to the computer case: "I'll deal with YOU later." Dear Princess Celestia: Remember when I locked myself in the library for a week? I've had a sobering reminder of that incident today. My friends' sisters nearly died today, and Rainbow Dash saved their lives by pulling me back to reality. Isolating myself from my friends and responsibilities is far too easy for me. But friends who are willing to risk our friendship to pull me out of my obsessions are a great gift. I've learned that life is too short to spend alone, and that all the knowledge in the world won't help anyone if it isn't applied. Your faithful student Twilight Sparkle
