!K2twta9DBo 03/09/12(Fri)22:51 No.494572>>494414 From my point of view, since you posted the image as anonymous and with no means of identification, the picture can't be traced back to you easily. I think if you or anyone found the exact link to the post in the thread you posted the drawing in, and with whatever original data you have on the piece being used by this guy, a case could be made for anyone willing to listen.
The evidence would point toward you, but as it stands, you are an anonymous poster, one of countless others. If the situation where less personal and from somewhere completely different, the same thing would be had by everyone: That that person is lying or attention seeking, typical of the internet.
So until evidence is collected, the image you posted falls within fair use, even if he didn't originally make it. It belongs to no one, and I think it's ok under that sense to make cash off of a fair use image, which are rarely used (due to the person not really caring what happens to it after the fact most of the time, and no one being interested in them). What the mods on the site will do in response to said evidence, I don't know.
However, you have talent and passion, and unless you want others to take your work as their own so easily, you need an identity to show that you alone made those works. |
