The biological reality of evolution is indisputable; survival of the fittest (or rather, reproduction of the survivors) in tandem with the random factor of natural recombination, with a dash of mutation, clearly result in new species over time. I simply dispute the time scale and the origin of genetic diversity.
A flawless genome meant interbreeding would not result in rednecks. Thus, Cain's wife was likely his sister. Yet the Flood and Ark reduced the gene pools to a couple of breeding pairs. The inbreeding of Noah's kids, plus the churned up crust and resulting transuranic ores now on the surface, would easily result in a 9/10 lifespan reduction in the ensuing 500 years. Meanwhile, biodiversity would take a hit as animal populations spread across the continents, each population evolving to fit its ecological niche, losing genes along the way. Wild dogs, domesticated dogs, coyotes, wolves, and jackals can still interbreed fruitfully, but there may come a time when they can't.

But that's not the point. The point is that I can't convince you of anything over the Internet like this. I hope you got a good laugh. I also hope that if you see cleansing fire descending on Earth, you remember that I said I would care about you because the One who loves me cares for you too.
