“Girls...” Rarity began, trying to recover her composure, “I gave myself a moment to think and, well, it's not fair to not participate. I think if I don't join you, none of us will remember the sleepover and will just remember me holing myself away upstairs!” her eyes popped open dramatically. The girls gently assured her that it was no problem at all, and before she knew it she was seated at the round table, across from Pinkie Pie. Pinkie span again, the glass humming an intense, repetitive chant as the fine grains in the glass made contact with the wood. Five seconds, ten seconds, fifteen seconds, it could really hold a tune! Spinning and spinning, eyeing some faces mirroring the material it was made out of. At once, uneasy expressions were boldly etched and yet fragile. Finally, it seemed the bottle was tuckering out. Its pitch lowered slightly, and it slowed to the point where it was turning lazily. The girls couldn't imagine what it would be like to kiss Pinkie Pie. Her boundless energy, the fact that she always smelled like baked goods of some kind. Did she even know how to kiss? The Cakes didn't seem like the type to openly express their love in front someone with such an active, childish imagination. Slower still, the bottle spun around. Rarity watched the others' stomachs suck in as if the bottle had a knife attached to it, she watched their eyes widen, and she watched the bottle stop, pointing squarely at herself. |
