ok, first one.
Really, the only problems where the shapes.
Her bangs were too flat, they ran in almost a completely straight line along the top of her head, but given your limited drawing space that'd kind of alright.
You drew it a little too big, try it just a little bit smaller next time.
the eyes only needed to be moved a little bit over towards the center face a little bit more.
horn needed to go up at a higher angle
ears were pretty much spot on, I just drew an ear shape I would have preferred for this shot.
back to her bangs, the hair goes over her eyes most of the time, don't be afraid to let it cover up stuff sometimes
the part of her mane on the back of her neck looked flat, it usually rests beyond where the normal lines for her neck would go, make it pop out next time.
thicken up the neck a little bit
the mouth is fine, it's just too big is all.
nose is fine, so are the nostrils.
the shape of the head is the more important: make it more circular next time, to the best of your ability. Don't always make it a perfect circle though, sometimes in certain shots, their heads appear more ovular instead of being a perfect circle.
one last thing about her mane, or rather her bangs, same rule as with the hair on her neck: it's supposed to pop. Meaning, it's not supposed to start on the same line that you would use for her head if she was bald, give it some volume.
and the eye shape, I'm probably wrong, but twi's eyes are pointed towards the diagonal ends, so in this shot that MIGHT be the case, but if not, it's fine, the animators let things like that slip all the time I think.
overall, not bad really, I've seen WAY worse. |
