Don't be afraid to go off-model or make something seem 'changed' in order to emphasize a movement, or an expression. Some of my best works are so stretched in mid-action or facial gesture they seem a far step from the original character.Exaggeration is the key for me in cartoons, I thinkEverything should be 200%.
