2nd paragraph last sentence: "...spending most of the previous [Add the word "day" or "night" here] deciding..."
3rd paragraph 2nd line: "Fluttershy is also notices..." remove the "is"
Single line of dialogue: "As for how you liked salmon specifically?" That sentence was a little confusing to read, not sure what you meant.
Lost count of paragraphs: You used the word "coo" twice in the span of 2 sentences, try a different verb.

It annoyed me a little how much the story talks about you "complimenting" her, but If you were going for that then disregard. Watch your tenses too as you tend to switch to past tense occassionally and while it could make sense it the story sometimes I'm not sure it was intentional.
You really seem to be more in your element once the "action" starts, I'll give you that. You also do a nice job of depicting the situation and the pacing is really great.
It was a fun read.
