!bll4ybGPow 03/02/12(Fri)10:05 No.338771>>338714 Fluttershy living was completely out of place, true. The way it was done, I was fine with, but every single other character had a well-documented demise of one kind or another. Most of my issue with the ending, though, was involved with how the theme of the whole thing was hope, and the last ten chapters are about the main character hoping for a reuninion, but then the author decides that stuff done in the past in the story no longer applies because she wanted a bittersweet ending.

>>338740 It works fine even if you don't know the references, though. Only game I'd played when I read it was Fallout 3, and I still enjoyed the story. That's why I think they worked well; because I didn't recognize most of them, and still enjoyed the story. |
