Tabitha has legit acting chops due to insanity. It transitions really well to Rarity because the artists draw based on her voice.

I remember a recent vocal interview that said Tabitha frequently went off the script, made everyone laugh, then they told her to do it again right. Then they would get to her part again and she would come up with something else hilarious to say that wasn't related to what she said earlier or what was in the script.

Some of the characters just carry episodes better than others. Rarity makes for a great protagonist. Twilight is similarly good in the spotlight. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are hit and miss. Rainbow Dash and Applejack are better in supporting roles.

I was thinking something simple, like the Simpson or the TMNT games from Konami. They weren't the deepest, but they made up for it with 4-6 players (the X-Men game) at the same time and a ton of love for whatever it was based off of (the Simpson is incredible for this).

Given how Fluttershy has gravitated towards Rainbow Dash more since season two, it would make sense that Rarity focuses her attention more on Twilight, especially since the whole princess thing happened. Rarity would enjoy being regarded as the closest friend to a princess, and Twilight would appreciate having someone close who is adept in courtly circles.
