04/13/12(Fri)11:03 No.1243645>>1243550 For me, there's a distinct lack of smell. That's the only thing that separates the reality from the dream-state.
Touch and, sense of taste, they are there, but in noticeably warped versions. Usually touch is close to normal, but on occasions, for example, I will touch glass and it feels like jelly. It can be disconcerting if you aren't fully prepared for it. Sounds are almost totally realistic and match what you'd expect them to sound like in real life.
Vision, that depends.
Most of the sensations are open to warping by you, it depends on your level of control. Once I had a dream where everything was Rainbow coloured. It was weird, and a bit of an assault on the mind's eye. I didn't like that, but that was an experiment more than anything else. |
