Weaver lives across the street from a bunch of drug-dealing drunk teens. One of them broke into his house by accident and fell asleep in his bathroom this time.
He's talked on and off about noise complaints and I guess things finally reached a peak with the elderly neighbors next door so once Weaver got kicked out on the street he went to talk with them, since he wasn't going to be living there anymore anyway. Well, to be honest, Sombras backstory IS him being corrupted - Because he dug too deep for crystals and unleashed a nasty dark magic curse upon himself for his hubris. It's the entire reason why the season 2 finale has a unused mine - because celestia found the same stuff in her kingdom but instead went NOPE THAT MINE IS SHUT THE FUCK DOWN STARTING NOW, and thats all the difference.
