I always wondered, was there some sort of disease imparted by anime? Because I've had several friends and acquaintances, as well as several random people in art classes all the way up to college level that turned into the Anime Binder Kid.
I'm talking about the person that has a 3-ring binder full of page protectors and slick-as-fuck printer paper, who only draws copied anime and anime related things with black pen and nothing else. I even had one of them in an Art Intro course in college who would do his "own interpretation" of assignments that required it to be painted on 11x7 paper at least. He'd show up with 8.5x11 black and white anime shit and try to pass it off. And god bless the professor, he was trying so hard to warp things around so the kid didn't outright fail, because it's so fucking hard to fail an Art intro course. You could just see him squirming in his chair, wanting to tell the kid he was fucking retarded.
