Sorry, I thought vension was something it isn't. I mistook it for the larger thigh area of the animal which is often used from lambs and smoked here.

Lineart is always nice, but they're their mostly as a guide, you need not put the shading colors close to only them, like the pants you did. The color choice for him is great, though.
When you tend to do this shading, it makes the lineart distractingly look like it's glowing a little. If you just left out that shading and the plain colors stayed it'd still be fine.
If you do want to shade, honestly, don't be so afraid to move the colors further from just the area of the lines and maybe even use a slightly darker color.
