Thanks to everyone who sent me the youtube videos (I opted long ago to disengage from the harmful practice of capitalism and the endless cesspool that was cable TV was the first to go.) >The latest episode opens with the blue lipstick-lesbian pony injuring herself (seriously, have the writers ever met an ACTUAL lesbian?) and being sent to the hospital. OF COURSE the doctor was a cisgendered heteronormative male, and the nurses were cisgendered heteronormative females. Disgusting. You'd think we'd stepped back into the middle ages with such portrayals. >I'd just like to note that this is only my second episode of My Little Pony, but I have yet to see any examples of transgendered ponies. >Finally I got to the scene that everyone warned me about. Even with the warnings, I was about ready to cry when I saw the scene. A non-neurotypical pony with the image of a screw on its butt (implying screwball, an ableist term) was barking like a dog. The nurse pony screamed at him to go back to the hospital. Disgusting.
