That's actually true. You, under all conditions, perceive time like you are right now. But, let's say, you're moving with 0m/s in relation to the center of the universe, time for people on Earth will go slower, e.g. when you get back you'd be slightly older than the rest of the planet. Now if you started moving with 50% lightspeed, when you'd get back you'd be younger than everyone else. If you reach lightspeed, time stops, in theory you exist in every single moment in the following history of the universe from the point when you reach c. It most likely also means that you are immediately destroyed because the universe falls apart after a certain amount of time and space/time ceases to exist. |
