Again the Imperial banners flutter in the wind. In this year of our lord, 2012, the most serene Augustus Leth, Romanorum Imperator, crowned by God, has again convened the Estates of the Holy Roman Empire. Before the Diet this time lies a motion to reform the Hofgericht. This new Imperial Reform would separate the executive power of the Emperor from the judicial power of the Hofgericht, allowing it to work independently of the Emperor, thus increasing speed and efficiency, due to a lack of need for his person on site. However, some of the Imperial members murmur that tradition is in place for a reason, and that the judicial powers must be always answerable to the Emperor himself on a direct basis. What is our opinion on the proposed Hofgericht Reform?
>Option A: The need for reform is dire.
>Option B: The Hofgericht must serve the Emperor and the Emperor alone! |
