I'm not a fan of these "feels."
I preferred it when it was like three to five lines of fluffy pony doing something wrong then comically dying. Nothing edgy or anything. Just something that elicited a chuckle that you secretly felt bad about.

Then people tried to be edgy and wrote long stories about grotesque things happening to them. This transitioned to long happy stories trying to make people have "feels." I'm not in favor of it.

Wow...there's still a MLP General?! I thought everyone said season 2 wasn't what they signed up for and quit. Apparently it's harder to get rid of the pony addiction than some people thought... this is the second time I visit in 4 months. Invite the brothers and their machine back to Ponyville the next cider season, and have another competition between the machine and the Apple family (including honorary members). That way, there's a motive and a method to both produce more cider barrels in less time AND manage to satisfy the town. The stakes would be either a lower or higher percentage of the profits.

Of course, the stubborn pride of the Apple family would lead to impasse at first, but if they put that aside and cut out the "putting the farm on the line" stipulation, there'd be a partnership for the ages.

See, this is why economics makes no sense to me. Nobody has the ONE correct way to it. No matter what, no one can agree on or figure out an infallible economic system, guide, or plan. But everyone is so sure that they have the right one, everyone thinks they have it figured out. Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, free market, Laissez faire, the invisible hand and so many more concepts have not brought ever lasting peace in the span of the human race.

Then a system is put into place, things are good for X amount of time, then things go wrong. People then accommodate for it, change happens, no one knows what to do, the system collapses, and everyone dies.

This is just my opinion, but I don't like it when people try to figure out the economics in any sense. Its incomprehensible because humans are fallible, and the systems and structures they make are inherently flawed by proxy.

Isn't the purpose of an idea to make everyone's way of life better? To create peace and stability on Earth? Isn't that how things are suppose to be?
