Each member is on an adventure. As they go through it, one manages to use their talent to save the other, and gets her cutie mark.
As expected.
But the twist would be that the other two become angry and jealous that the first got her cutie mark already, and become passive aggressive towards her. Felt left out and depressed despite such an achievement, she stays behind.
Same thing happens with the next two, until finally one is alone. But then she uses her special talent to call the other two back when she realizes how much of a fool she's been.
It'd make the most sense with the order going Scootaloo -> Applebloom -> Sweetie Belle (calls the others back with singing), but actual order would likely be SB -> Scoots -> AB.
