This has gotten out of hand.

This cartoon was made for fucking children. There is a difference between not being afraid to enjoy conventionally childish things, and enjoying things specifically designed for children. It's the equivalent of grown men watching Blue's Clues or Teletubbies, or riding a Tonka truck, or playing with a box for hours. Not while spending time with their children mind you, no, this is done in their own spare time of their own volition. This is what they find genuinely enthralling.

This started out as a joke, as trolling; nobody who's not a fucking 4-8 year old girl is supposed to genuinely enjoy this cartoon. Now it's gotten completely out of control, because some fucking autistic faggots missed the joke and suddenly felt enabled to wallow in their own faggotry and feel pride in it, enough to shove it down everyone else's throats.

Stop this fucking shit. There is nothing redeeming about this cartoon. Lazy, shitty flash animation and a story and script made for children. It's not a good show. Stop it.

Is it still too early to get people's opinion on the atual episode? I'd like to hear what everyone thought about the stuff that happened after 5 minutes into the episode.
I adored everything about this episode, like, for example, all of the referential humor, Rarity and Pinkie's team rocket ending, CAR CHASES AND FEELINGS, it just had the perfect mix of everything I like about the show, in a single episode.

SCREW BRONIES. They think they're men for being able to watch a show that really was made for little girls and call other people who disagree unmanly. Comparing this whole...situation with Spongebob is unfair.
The internet community as a whole was still in its infantile stage until around the time Spongebob went bad.

A lot of the communities were small and distant from each other. There wasn't the huge intermingling of communities, nor were there nearly as many people for the Spongebob Era.

FiM is just the result of the fast growth that the internet community has experienced, as well as the "Anonymity" and separation from "real life." It's not that such things didn't exist with Spongebob, it's just that people weren't as outspoken about such things, nor were there enough fans to turn the sparks into a wildfire.

Definitely one of the highest tier episodes of the season and the show. Pinkie Pie ran away with the episode but the other ponies all had great moments, too, and it flowed beautifully.

The only things to hate are

Spongebob is actually funny (at least some of the old seasons were) and it's not the kind of humor only a child would enjoy.
MLP on the other hand... I watched an episode, because I hoped it would be like spongebob, but it's not. It's not funny in the slightest or in any way interesting. It's really just a cartoon - a boring one that is.

Rarity is the least likeable of the mane six. She’s not unlikeable because she’s boring like Applejack, or obnoxious like Rainbow Dash, instead she’s just a flat out bitch. In the pilot we learn that Rarity is the element of generosity, but later in the series it’s hard to find her being very generous. In fact, I’d argue that she’s completely self centered and selfish. Lets not forget in “Sonic Rainboom” where Rarity generously offers herself as a guinea pig for a bit of experimental magic in the spirit of helping Rainbow Dash succeed at the best young fliers competition. This is quickly forgotten when she discovers that her wings are beautiful and decides to compete AGAINST her friend to win the admiration of others. Ultimately she is punished for her hubris by almost falling to her death, but the fact is she TRIED to beat her friend at a competition that Rainbow Dash dreamed of winning.
