It's time for WORLD OF SPOOKY QUEST: WRATH OF THE LICH BELLE

You slowly awake to the sweet sounds of chirping. The harmonious melody brings a smile to our face as you glance around your bedroom. As your eyes turn to the clock, you notice that it's 9 AM. Wait, 9 AM!? You're late for school! You leap out of bed so fast that you get caught in the sheets and tumble to the floor. You hit your head on the ground, which makes you remember that today is the first day of Spring Break and that you're spending it with your sister since your parents took a trip down to Floridoe! You can hardly believe that you'll have a whole week to spend with your sister and maybe even have an adventure with your friends. You try to leap for joy, but once again trip on your blankets.

Now that your enthusiasm has died down a bit, you decide it would be best for you to clean yourself up. You're not nearly as obsessive as Rarity is about her looks, but you at least make yourself presentable every morning. You walk over to the mirror and start brushing your mane, taking care to cover a patch that mysteriously went missing a few weeks ago while you were asleep. You blame it on Opal; it wouldn't be the first time she lopped off a bit of your hair with those sharp claws of hers. Anyways, you go back to straightening out your mane. Since you can't lift things like big unicorns can, you have to brush yourself with your mouth. It's incredibly awkward and you don't know how Applebloom can stand craning her neck like that every day. You finish up before laying the brush down. Taking a few steps back, you decide that you're going to at least try to use magic for once. You concentrate intently on the brush, trying to let your will pour out from your horn. You strain and strain, until eventually you see the brush glow a little and start to shake. You're able to hold it for a second or two, but the strain proves too much and your concentration breaks, leaving you tired and winded. You look at the brush with confusion. Your sister makes it seem so easy; maybe you're just doing something wrong.

You bolt downstairs, resolute to go to the town library. You meet up with your sister down in the kitchen, who has already prepared breakfast. Your trip to the library is mostly uneventful. You saw a couple of kids from school playing around, but nobody you knew personally. You saw a few adults roaming about, but most of them were still at their shops, your sister included. Sometimes you wonder how fun things could be if EVERYONE got Spring Break. However, you don't have much time to ponder as you finally approach the library. The front door is open, meaning that it's open to the public. Hmm, let's see here...” her voices trails off as she trots up to the shelves and levitates a bunch of intimidatingly large books off the shelves. “Let's see...Basic Magic Theory, An Introduction to Starswirl's Six Principles of Magic, oh, can't forget Dr Skyshine's Condensed Horn Anatomy...” Twilight continues to mutter to herself as she pulls book after book from the shelves. She finally finishes and stuffs them all in a saddlebag, which she then proceeds to place on your back. You almost buckle at the load; it's so heavy you can barely stand. Twilight continues addressing you, “Alright, I know that some of these books might be a little above your reading level, so I'd recommend just reading the first dozen or so chapters of each book. It's not as intimidating as it sounds; when I was your age, it only took me a couple of weeks.” You groan. “WEEKS!? I was thinking of learning something NOW! Isn't there anything faster?”

These books should only be studied by master's of the art, otherwise the reader risks endangering themself and others. I want you to promise me that you won't go near this section, okay?” You assure her that you know not to mess with dark magic, especially since you and your friends seem to attract curses lately. Quietly leaving the chocolate on a table as thanks, you grab the ancient book and strut casually out the library entrance before galloping back to Rarity's house. You run through the entrance to the Boutique and pass your sister as she's levitating a few pieces of starry cloth and some scissors. “Back so soon?” she asks, but you ignore her and run up the stairs back to your room. Dropping off your book bag at the foot of your bad, you grab the musty tome and open it up. To your dismay, you can't read the foreign writing. You're a bit disappointed, but as you turn the page you're met with gorgeous drawings of geometric patterns and insignias. You pour over the text and see that the rest of the book mostly consists of more of these amazing images with some unintelligible text occasionally accompanying the intricate designs. You notice that, while cool looking, the drawings seem to just be ink drawings on plain parchment. Then, it hits you.

ou grab your set of crayons from under the bed and get to work. Fuck learning magic, you're having a blast defacing old and probably irreplaceable artifacts from a bygone era. Your crayons move effortlessly across the page. You barely even need to think as your body seems to subconsciously grab just the right color. As you slowly slip into a trance, the symbols fill your brain and you lose consciousness.

You wake up some time later with a crayon in your mouth. Turning the pages, you see that nearly every symbol is colored expertly. Even though you can't remember most of it, you admire your handiwork and put the book away. Maybe you'll show Rarity later; you're sure she'll love how pretty you made everything. You walk over to the dresser to see if you got any crayon in your coat. Huh, that's odd, has your coat always had a slight green tinge to it? Also, where did all these red sores come from. Some of them are pretty deep. Looking down, you can see a sore in your chest so deep that you can see a couple of your ribs and part of your lung. You decide to poke it and find that it feels squishy under your hoof.

“COOL!” you exclaim as you continue to poke and prod your insides, lightly giggling at how strange it feels. Though, you slowly realize that this isn't normal and that you MAY have gotten yourself in over your head. Suddenly, you hear your sister yelling from the bottom floor. “Sweetie Belle, your friends are here, should I send them up?”

You continue, "I zoned out for a little bit when I started coloring, and when I woke up I was like this. Pretty cool huh? I wonder what kind of cool powers I have!"

You think for a little while before remembering that Scootaloo should have a cape back when she had a little, "accident" and went on a bit of a rampage. You ask her to get it, preferring to not drag your sister into this by asking her to make you a full body cloak. Scootaloo agrees and tells you she'll be back in a bit before galloping out the room.

Now, that just leaves the problem of disguising your smell. Your sister has a whole bunch of perfume in her room, but she's just downstairs and probably wouldn't like you searching in her things. Still, you make your way to her room. Peering inside, you can see a bed and a few dressers lining the walls. There are some trinkets and baubles on top of the dressers, but non of them look like perfume bottles.

Suddenly, you hear your sister call from downstairs. "Sweetie, is everything alright? Your friend bolted out the door pretty quickly and almost knocked over one of my displays." Hoofsteps on the staircase makes your heart sink. Applebloom looks at you expectantly.

Thinking quickly, you tell Applebloom to say that Scootaloo forgot something from her house and will be right back. Then you tell her that she should also say you're playing hide and go seek and that she should just keep looking around to pretend like she doesn't know where you are.

You leap under the bed. It's a tight fit, but it works. Moments later, you can see your sister's legs in the doorway.

"Applebloom, what are you doing in my room?" The yellow pony repeats what you said about playing hide and seek. Rarity buys it hook, line, and sinker.

"Alright, but my room is strictly off limits. I'm sorry, but I have my things well organized and my sister can be a little accident prone." She sends Applebloom off to another part of the house.

Before Rarity leaves, she casually trots over to her budoire, admiring herself in the mirror. Deciding that she needs a little touching up, you can hear her applying makeup, along with a few fragrant puffs that you assume is the sound of a perfume spray. Humming gently, Rarity trots out and shuts the door. At first you're glad she's gone, but then you hear the distinct click of a door being locked.

Crawling out of the bed, you see that your sister left the perfume bottle out. Walking over to it, you used your hooves to press the sprayer while moving your body around to ensure that you get everything. When your finsihed, you whiff your forelimb again. It smells like lilac. You give yourself a small nod of approval.

Satisfaction turns to panic, though, when you realize you're trapped in this room. Without thinking, you run to the door and start pounding on it for dear life. After a minute, you hear the lock click and you stand back as it opens. Your sister stands at the door looking scared.

"Sweetie Belle, are you..." she pauses for a brief moment when she looks at your decaying form, then screams at the top of her lungs before fainting. Applebloom walks over to the scene and stares at you.

"Nice going you dodo! Now what?"

Put Rarity to bed and make her comfortable. Hopefully when she wakes up she'll think she was dreaming. Lock the door again so it looks like nothing happened, then leave a note that says AB found you and now youre going to play in town.

You tell Applebloom that you're sorry and that you're claustrophobic. She sighs and tells you to just help her get your sister in bed. Together with Applebloom, you're able to put your sister on the bed and even tuck her in. Hopefully when she wakes up she'll just think it was a bad dream.

Suddenly, you hear the bell at the front door jingle.
