But yes, there are definitely different levels of what people are willing to accept. I don't think rape is all that high up there, though, not with things like gore, disease-spreading (I shit you not), vore, and probably a couple others I don't have proper names for. Yes, it gets a special place in the hierarchy for the absence of consent (coprophagia, for instance, is generally 'consensual', though thanks to Japan I've seen some shit, pardon the pun), but it also is one of the most primal, natural 'fetishes' out there. Power is something we as a species crave, and what is rape about if not power? The real rape, mind you, not 'oh hey we're both drunk whoops I didn't actually want to have sex with you I was just drunk'. |
