So far I still need to add the ears, that's a given.

The back hooves have a problem where they don't flatten out properly, and the front hooves are a bit too square and large. There's also a slight problem with the shape of the head that can be corrected.

As for the hair and eyes... I'll get to it eventually. It's going to be hard as hell since I'm pretty new to MAX.

That also made me realize I need to raise the necks a little bit and make them longer. I also notice how the head shape is a bit less round and more almond-shaped, with nice indentions for the eyes. I'd like it if the Valentine's episode was actually interesting and progressed some character.

Like, say, Rarity meets a guy. To start with he's earnest and tries different things, but his plans tend to fall through. Then he starts to get a better idea of what Rarity likes, starts dressing differently and doing things that she didn't think he'd enjoy while at the same time becoming less enthusiastic when he sees her.

So, she wants to find out what's going on. Is he seeing another pony? Getting ready to leave town? She follows him and after some impromptu disguises, finds him talking to Spike. She's about to step in in case Spike;s trying to scare him off, but it turns out that he's giving the guy advice on what Rarity likes and how to make her happier. Then the guy tells Spike that he's not sure it's right that he's changing himself to make Rarity happy when it's pretty clear Spike would do a much better job and he feels he's just getting in the way. Spike tries to convince him to stay with her, then goes off to the library and Rarity confronts the guy. She tells him what she heard and they break up mutually. Cut to Rarity giving Twilight a letter for Celestia about how changing yourself to make others happier isn't always the best plan and how you should make sure friends aren't making themselves miserable to make you happy.

Applejack is completely unpretentious, so she's easy to write for. Pinkie is absolutely random and uses a bizarre blend of both real and made-up sayings, plus a bunch of wacky shit thrown in, but in such a way you can't just go LOLSORANDUM and throw in whatever fucking stupid shit you want. It's actually a delicate balance, because as some people forget, she does in fact speak normally sometimes, or at least react in a relevant way.

Well we know that their technology is a little behind ours.
Also most of it probably run on some combination of electricity and magic.

I think some of the more outer edge of Ponyville were also pretty cool looking. I remember there was one scene from Pinkie Keen with a shop or diner or whatever that looked like it sat just at the edge of Ponyville. I thought it looked like it would have been a great and quiet place to hang out. If memory serves, the shop never shows up again.
I need to rewatch the episode to refresh my memory, but it shows what I'm talking about. The calm and quiet parts with not many other ponies or buildings, to me, are what really take the cake.
