01/09/12(Mon)01:27 No.33080038>>33079873 Castile is one of the easiest countries, but that also makes it a very boring country. It's a great lumbering beast.
France, Burgundy, Austria, Bohemia, and England are all much more interesting countries that get events to conquer neighbors, and they have a surfeit of those.
Castile is more or less going to sit around until Spain forms, then beat the shit out of natives (or France). I find playing smaller, more difficult nations, much more exciting.
Castile is a fun choice for beginners, because you won't get mauled right away. Once you've learned how to play, I recommend one of the choices I have above. Remember that Castile is a colonization power, not a European war power.
That being said... getting Quest for the New World should not take decades. Go onto your expenses page and put everything into Government. Get a Master of the Mint so you can go even further without inflation. Once you get Quest for the New World, it's on!
And don't worry! If you now own most of Aragon, you're golden. Wait for it to core, then Form Spain. |
