What's the general feeling on it? I guess a lot of stuff will change. People will still ship random characters, but the way the characters actually respond to romantic ideas will be canonized. This will invalidate more fanfiction than Luna Eclipsed, and almost every single preconceived ship will have to be rethought.

I think this episode will probably have the biggest impact on the fandom since the pilot. Even The Return of Harmony didn't really affect many people's fan creations from that point forward.
