Then on top of that you can have things like dragons, pets, and so on. You basically pay for the unit and then you customise them with pre-designed "cutie marks" that give them their abilities - say, moderate damage and high-speed attack, and so on, ability to slow enemies down, et cetera. The enemies would be things like Diamond Dogs, Parasprites, gryphons and so on, and bosses would be individual enemies from the show. The areas could be backgrounds from the show itself. How about an episode where Twilights agrees to shift the minds and bodies of her friends (plus herself) so they could know what it feels being in each other's shoes?

For example, rarity agrees to become Fluttershy so she could understand her love of those filty animals, while Fluttershy becomes Applejack so she could understand what feels like being strong and shit.
Twilight becomes Pinkie Pie to understand how Pinkie Sense works, and hilarity ensues when Twilight's spell doesn't stops working when it's supposed to, so everyone gets stuck on each other's bodies for way longer of what they expected to, and must try to resume their daily chores usng a body and abilities they are not familiar with, until Twilight's spell finally cancels itself.
