Twilight smells like books. Not like just 'books' though -- not exactly like old books, though there's quite a bit of parchment and older leather on days she's been archiving. It's not at all musty (sometimes you could almost detect a whiff of a glossy magazine, which she'd never admit to reading.)
Instead there's notes of the honeysuckle just outside the window she leaves open from her afternoon studies. Lovely deep round coffee grounds, strongest in the early morning and late evenings.
But, the thing that always sets her in a blush, if you happen to lean in as she's reading or writing or carrying on about her studies with that bright smile -- mentioning that light lavender shampoo she must be using.
Especially when, after a certain someone mentioned it a few weeks ago, her mane seems to smell of more often. |
