12/26/11(Mon)05:25 No.32678558>>32678432 Feeling Pinkie Keen for me, and probably a lot of people. I liked the slapstick and Derpy, and there were lots of little gags that were great, like Twilight standing on the soapbox. The whole thing kind of fell apart at the end. Even ignoring everything about the religious stuff, its not a good moral. Just trusting things to work out is never a good idea. Its too bad, really. The episode seemed to be building to a "you have to trust your friends" or "just because you don't understand something doesn't make it fake" but we got a pointless leap of faith where Twilight was only saved by happenstance.
I think it could have been a good, and well liked episode if instead of having it been a bubble, Pinkie had dove and caught her, being alerted to the danger by her sense, and then both had to be pulled up by AJ or something.
The moral would have been something more suited to the episode, basically "be open to new ideas, because your friends will never try to steer you wrong" |
