12/16/11(Fri)01:34 No.32380914>>32380825 Oh, hey. I was looking for you.
I'm very sorry for the extremely late answer and for being a massive faggot with all this, but I had to leave the general for the rest of the day and couldn't reply to your question. Let me just quote what you said a while ago so you know what I'm talking about:
>Here's my question: Would you rather MLP went of for three seasons and ended on a high note, or kept going on and on, inevitably declining in quality over time?
Better to burn out in a glorious send-off or fade away over the next decade?
I'm not saying that I want it to last a decade, because that would be obviously overkill. But still, two seasons and a half are still way too little for a regular cartoon, especially for a cartoon that is incredibly popular like this one. There are other shows that are not nearly as popular as this one, like Martha Speaks, which is going for its 4th season as far as I'm concerned. The quality of the show is definitely not a concern; S2 has been quite superior to S1 in many aspects, and we've only barely seen half of the season. But, again, I'm not asking for 10 seasons for this show, but a couple more seasons wouldn't be bad either.
...Sorry for being such a gigantic faggot over this, but I did feel the need to answer to your question now since I didn't get the chance to doing so when you asked it to me earlier today. |
