When I was hammering out a humanized design for Pinkie Pie, she was never meant to immediately be seen as someone who was hot or arousing. But her large figure, free of any blemishes, imperfections or other nasty shit 99% of fat women have in real life, combined with her cute high-pitched voice and mannerisms, would turn her into an unlikely sex symbol. Sort of like Betty Boop. Actually, Pinkie Pie (at least this design) was pretty much meant to be a 21st century Betty Boop. They're both cartoony, they both sing, they both have very feminine voices, they're both shapely, Pinkie Pie is inspired by 1930s cartoon aesthetics, etc. |
