I planned on using the first chapter to show off the horrors of the Zone, but that is so hard to do without writing a whole bunch of shit. My original first chapter had a Stalker being torn apart by a Chimera, that Chimera then being torn apart by a Vortex anomaly. After that our hero is almost killed by a Blowout, then meets up with some Rookies in an old lab. One of the Rookies get drained by a Bloodsucker and all but one of the others get eaten by Snorks. The surviving Rookie goes on to kill a Snork in Twilight's basement before passing out from bloodloss.

I also planned on later having the Rookie get shitfaced with Pinkie and Dash, the other Stalker have tea with Fluttershy and Rarity while he is still shell shocked, a Manticore fight a Chimera, and Twilight flip her shit when she sees the Moonlight artifact one of the Stalkers is carrying.

At long last, Starscream's new body is ready, but as he prepares to assume control, something happens and now he has Rainbow Dash's body and Rainbow Dash is in Starscream's body. They try to fix the situation, but it becomes worse when both Decepticons and Autobots mistake Rainbow Dash in Starscream's body as the former Decepticon lieutenant himself.

Starscream sees this as a perfect opportunity. He can always get a new body to his preferences and leave Rainbow Dash to take all the blame for him.

But at the last second, he can't do it. He can't run away from her. And so he goes back and saves her, telling her: "I don't want to have to wait to get ANOTHER new body! And you'd scratch the paint anyway!"

This is really the best part of Human in Equestria fanfics.
My Stalker fanfic would have had Twilight mistaking a guy wearing a gas mask for a monster with a face made purely out of bone. Fluttershy at first only sees the head of the veteran Stalker and mistakes him for some sort of large beetle. Rarity sees him standing stock-still and mistakes him for a piece of modern art.

I feel like I'm the only one who feels that because of it's length, F:E mostly remains incomprehensible, and that there are just to many parts of redundancy that distract from the overall plot. Therefor, I'm going to try to re-read each chapter, and Sparknote everything that happens, sentence by sentence. Saying this now to remind myself in the morning.
